About the Project
College Board’s new offices in Washington D.C. feature several key areas including millwork workstations, closed offices, flexible pantry/ gathering areas, conference rooms, collaborative zones, and main reception. Central to the space is expansive use of glass (walls, writable surfaces, tops and operable partitions), stain-grade millwork (including reception, workstations and conference rooms) and a series of different ceiling systems and treatments. It is the integration of these elements, and their detailing that provide a visual consistency, as well as making possible the integration of classical detailing with modern materials and aesthetics.
