Plaza Condominium

About the Project

Detailed project logistic plans and continuous communication allowed DFS to reconstruct the building entry, drive aisles and portions of the parking garage while maintaining unimpeded access for the buildings residents. Additionally, with the building’s proximity to both residential and commercial properties, sound monitoring was used to comply with restrictions during demolition. The project entailed the removal of the existing precast, from the vertical surfaces, stamped concrete drives and waterproofing and brick sidewalks. New stone was installed at the walls, sidewalks, columns and entry. In the drive aisles, the deck was waterproofed, drain systems were installed, concrete was regraded, poured and stamped, and grant curbs were installed. Additionally new metal ceiling systems, glass entry doors/walls and feature lighting were utilized to enhance the properties presence. In conjunction with this work, concrete structural repairs were performed within the subterranean parking.
