Managers from Philanthropy Roundtable sought out assistance to help them realize their vision of a vintage motif for their new 9,500 sf office in DC. From the light fixtures in the ceilings to the very door stops on the ground, the management, design, and construction teams coordinated every detail to create a consistent bronze look throughout the space that is captivating.
Tincraft circle, copper colored ceiling tiles top off the reception area and adjacent conference room. Below the tiles, brown leather look-alike wallcovering on the reception area’s feature wall complimented bronze lettering to set the tone for the whole office. To enhance the offices and conference room with a functional yet classy feature, the tenant’s graphic designer produced a custom window film featuring the organization’s logo and mission statement, which was successfully converted into privacy strips across the glass demountable partitions.
While the office has a vintage theme, the functionality of the space is far from aged. The coat closet off of the reception area was concealed with custom wood frames and flush mounted doors in order to provide both jacket and additional storage space for the conference room without detracting from the overall aesthetic of the space. In order to incorporate modern workspace trends, each office offers a full wall covered in level 5 finish dry-erase paint to form head-to- toe whiteboard thinking space. After months of coordination and countless hours of finish selections, the tenants are proud of their new office and enjoy a comfortable work space. Most importantly, this was achieved under budget and on-time.
