Education Trust

About the Project

The Education Trust is a national nonprofit that works to close opportunity gaps that disproportionately affect students of color and students of low-income families. Previously housed on two separate floors, The Education Trust desired a new downtown location that would bring everyone together in one space while reducing occupancy costs. To make the most of their budget, designers used large graphics and strategically placed colors and lighting to add visual interest throughout the floor. Lights placed above the corridor bulkheads, illuminate the painted open ceilings, making it appear that colored lights are used. Additionally, versatile felt baffles provide both sound absorption and bright pops of color.
