We are pleased to announce the grand opening of The Herald building. Originally built in 1923, the building once housed the printing presses and offices of the old Washington Times-Herald, where Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis worked as the “Inquiring Camera Girl.” The sprawling lobby lounge preserves the incredible 22′ ceiling height and pays homage to the Herald’s illustrious past, with a gallery wall dedicated to Jackie O. It also features boutique elements, such as a built in fireplace, walnut bookshelves, and elegant furniture overlooking a European style patio and the Herald park. DFS acknowledges the great vision of Marx Realty, Studios Architecture and JLL and is proud to be part of this exceptional team.
