About the Project
Although TIMA started primarily in London and the Middle East, the brand has expanded and grown, allowing for a new office in Washington D.C. Because TIMA is a worldwide company, brand consistency was important to maintain throughout the project. This project’s goal was to successfully divide the floor with an existing tenant and to be done in time for the 2012 election and coverage. In order to meet these goals, DFS had to work closely with the other tenant to ensure that critical functions were identified and maintained throughout construction. Due to the compressed schedule, the mechanical and electrical items were expedited. A number of existing features were utilized in order to cut costs and be more efficient. In the end, DFS had successfully constructed a camera studio, a master control room and two edit suites, which successfully conveyed TIMA’s international brand.
